




Our Holiday Agreement.
1.Conditions of Hire
Our agreement with you binds you and all members of your party, including children. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and members of your party are aware of, and accepts the whole of this agreement and its obligations. It is effective from the date our agreement is formed and continues until the last member of your party has left.
We reserve the right to:
• Refuse to confirm any booking
• Obtain the name age and gender of each member of your party before confirming your booking.
• Refuse or cancel a booking if any member of your party has, or has just had infectious or contagious medical condition.
We have the right to cancel your booking, or to instruct you and your party to leave immediately, without compensation or refund should you not comply with any part of this agreement, especially the regulations relating to behaviour.
You may not advertise or resell your holiday without our express written permission.
You may not bring any firearm or air weapon, archery equipment or similar item under any circumstances.
The maximum number of occupants must not be exceeded in any accommodation. There may be exceptions with babies or young children.
Bookings for parties of all young persons or all male or female young people will not be accepted. Where such parties may be found in residence they will be required to vacate and shall not be entitled to any refund or any compensation.
Prices include VAT and are subject to change should the VAT rate alter.
We would like to remind you that Vauxhall Holiday Park is in no way responsible for the loss of, or damage to your property while you are on the park. We recommend that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on holiday.
Vauxhall Holiday Park will not be held responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by acts of God including extreme weather conditions.
FORCE MAJEURE –We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for circumstances which amount to ‘force majeure’, which subsequently affect the provision of our service to you.
Completion and signature of the booking form signifies acceptance of conditions of hire shown on this page. This application is also an application for free membership to Vauxhall Holiday Park clubs during residence at the Holiday Park and Indoor pool complex during residence.
Accommodation
All holiday homes are available from approximately 4pm on the day of arrival and must be left in a clean and tidy condition not later than 9am on the day of departure. If on arrival you find any fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to reception. Please treat your accommodation with care and respect. You will be held responsible for any damage caused during your stay.
We reserve the right to charge you during or after your stay for any loss or damage to our property.
We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, or carry out essential inspection, maintenance work, housekeeping or repairs.
No tents, gazebo’s or pup tents are to be used as additional accommodation for Holiday Home or Touring sites.
Please do not erect any linen line, as these can be dangerous.
Touring pitches are available from 11am on the day of arrival to 10am on day of departure.
In addition to your Touring Caravan and car parking space only one awning per touring pitch is permitted - please keep within the boundary of your pitch as outlined on the site map on your arrival.
Booking Deposit
When you book, the deposit stated must be sent. For on-line bookings this is due immediately. This may also include your subscription to Vauxhall Holiday Park cancellation insurance.
Securing your Booking
You must make the payments by the appropriate time, or we will have the right to cancel your booking.
Please do not send cash in the post.
Final payments are due at least 40 days prior to the starting date of your holiday.
Please quote your booking number with any payments.
Booking cancellation.
If you are compelled to cancel your holiday you must notify us immediately by telephone. Then you must confirm it in writing using 1st Class mail, enclosing your Hire Invoice telling us whether your balance of hire money has been paid. Our acknowledgement in writing to you will be your confirmation that your booking has been cancelled. We will then endeavour to re-let for you. If we are successful in re-letting, you will only forfeit your booking deposit. If we cannot re-let, then you will be held responsible for a prompt payment of the full balance of hire due on the Holiday Home or Touring Site booking. Should you have to cancel within 45 days of your holiday, you must telephone us first, and follow this with a written confirmation by 1st Class mail. In the case of Holiday Homes, your subscription to Vauxhall’s Cancellation Insurance covers you for all or part of these liabilities if you cancel for one of the qualifying reasons.
The Holiday Home Number, or Pitch Number notified to you on confirmation of your booking is provisional and we reserve the right to alter this number, but this will occur only in exceptional circumstances.
In the event of non-arrival we reserve the right to re-let the holiday after 12 noon on the following day.
2. Safety
You must obey the speed limit on the Park.
Cyclists must give way to pedestrians.
It is recommended that appropriate safety helmets be worn when cycling. Do not use a scooter, cycle, skateboard or roller blades in any buildings.
Diving is not permitted in the swimming pools.
Do not enter or attempt to use any facility that is closed.
You are required to follow any additional safety advice given by our staff.
3.Dogs
No pets (Only Guide Dogs) are allowed on the park
4.Behaviour
Your behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. You must show consideration to other guests and staff. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated.
5.Children’s supervision and Parental responsibility.
You are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18. You must supervise your children at all times, this is particularly important in the Play Areas, The Swimming Pools and the Licensed Bars.
You must collect your child(ren) from supervised activities at the appointed times.
6.Access and Vehicles
Please at all times,
• Observe the 5mph speed limit
• Give way to pedestrians
• Keep to the left
• Drive, manoeuvre and park carefully
• Do not park on double yellow lines
Sleepers – No liability is accepted for any damage caused by these.
7.Licensed premises.
We may not serve or sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Please do not allow any of your party who is;
• Under 18 to attempt to buy alcohol at any of our outlets, or use any gaming machine with a jackpot of £25 or more, or attempt to buy solvent based products.
• Under 16 to attempt to buy cigarettes.
We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to anyone;
- should they not prove their age to our satisfaction, or
- to someone we consider has been drinking excessively.
We will accept police approved identity card schemes such as “Prove it” or a passport or new-style driving licence as proof of age.
8.Security of your property.
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility during your stay on the park.
Any vehicle parked on our property is subject to very limited security cover. You must lock your vehicle and remove any valuables.
We accept no liability whatsoever for any accident, loss or damage to your property unless such loss, damage or accident is demonstrably due to our negligence or that for whom we are legally responsible.
9.Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in some accommodation and or all indoor areas.
10.Activities
All activities and facilities are subject to availability and no compensation will be payable where activities or facilities are unavailable.
As we continue to improve accommodation and facilities and comply with Health & Safety legislation or other legal requirements you may find that:
• Some facilities have been altered
• Listed facilities are temporarily closed for maintenance
• There is development or refurbishment work in certain areas although in such circumstances we try to minimise any inconvenience.
11.Data Protection
We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Should you not wish appear in any such material please notify us on your arrival.
All the information contained in our bookings is held on our computer system for which we are registered and comply with the regulations of the Data Protection Act.
We will not sell this information, and only use it for marketing and information purposes relating to Vauxhall Holiday Park Ltd.
12.Phone Calls
To ensure standards are maintained we may record or monitor phone calls
13.Brochure Content
The information supplied is correct at the time of going to press. Facilities and Entertainment may vary from that published. Vauxhall Holiday Park will endeavour to notify all customers of any significant changes. All rights are reserved to Vauxhall Holiday Park and the designers Lindon Parriss Ltd
14. Reporting procedure.
In order for us to rectify any of your concerns, please advise us of any problems or concerns immediately. We will endeavour to respond to these promptly in order for you to continue to enjoy your holiday. Any reported matter, which has not been resolved during your stay, should be advised in writing to the General Manager within 28 days of the end of your stay.
Please note we are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware and which you did not bring to our attention during your stay.
